QuaLiSID

People with Intellectual Disabilities (NA) face constant problems in their daily living in terms of their needs, activities, communication and generally in the interaction with their environment. The aim of the QuaLiSID project is to optimize the possibilities provided, through the development of an appropriate interactive system to support these people. The integrated system will provide various stimuli, facilitate information, serve entertainment, creative engagement and education through specialised learning programmes, and on the other hand will cover the identification of emergencies along with appropriate notifications to the relevant persons. The system will utilize the internet by incorporating multiple and different kinds of functions with the expected result of offering an affordable solution, simple to use and adapted to the needs of individuals-users.
