Mobile-Search

The project aims to develop an advanced mobile search engine for disseminating the cultural heritage of Greece. To achieve this goal a set of technologies will be exploited and deployed on the mobile platform, such as 3D search, routing services and augmented reality. The main features of the cultural content mobile search engine is to provide information about objects of cultural interest, markup cultural routes of interest, as well as provide alternative cultural routes customized according to the user requirements. Also the envisaged mobile search engine is expected to offer immersive user experience by the use of augmented reality technology.
