BubbllzAR

BubbllzAR aims to enrich and upgrade the award-winning and successfully launched Bubbllz social marketing platform of ITBooms, and through this to enhance consumer engagement in promotion activities of retail stores and brands. To achieve the above the project will deploy cutting-edge gamification techniques combined with augmented reality realisations. These techniques and realisations will be applied into user generated content (UGC), either photos or video, that will be provided by users of social media. In parallel, BubbllzAR provides for the development of a set of evaluation mechanisms and optimization tools that will allow the design and improvement of effective social media promotion strategies and activities. The projects builds upon the existing experience and expertise of ITBooms and CERTH (its research partner) and is expected to demonstrate its proposed integrated solution (cloud platform, mobile app and web user interface) in both simulation settings and in real conditions from social media users and retail stores/ brands. BubbllzAR aligns with European digital policies and takes care of data security and consumer privacy issues. The project adopts a disruptive business model of the sharing economy, through which it is expected to generate multiple benefits for the project partners, consumers, stores/ brands, as well as the Greek economy.
