Dimitrios Tsiktsiris received his Diploma Degree in Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia (2017). He is a PhD Candidate since 2018 at the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Western Macedonia. He is employed in the Informatics and Technology Institute (I.T.I.) of the Centre for Research and Technology - Hellas (CE.R.T.H.) since September 2019. His primary research interests focus on acceleration using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), implementing low-power and high-performance systems, as well as on hardware prototyping using modern techniques such as High-Level Synthesis (HLS), computational vision and image processing.
