Skoumperdis Michalis graduated from the Department of Economics -University of Macedonia UOM in 2010. He completed his postgraduate studies first at the Department of Applied Informatics -University of Macedonia UOM in the field of Business Informatics where he graduated in 2016 and secondly at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering- A.U.TH., in the field of Advanced Computer Systems and Communications and more specifically in the domain of Intelligent Systems-Methodologies of Computational Intelligence and Applications- where he graduated in 2017. He did his internship in Entranet Ltd during 2017 in the Department of Research and Development where he deal with the field of digital audio signal processing. He has been working at the Institute of Informatics and Communications since December 2018 and his main research interests include the creation of forecasting models in the financial domain by the processing of big data from various sources and the advanced text mining machine learning techniques.
