Research Projects
Undergraduate Research Assistant
UP Lab, Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina, Greece
Single Image Super-Resolution
Experimented on image preprocessing making low and high resolution images, extracted overlapping patches and converted them in vectors. Process big datasets using HDF5 files. Use sparse representations and dictionaries to represent image patches. Evaluating two architectures, one of a deep Autoencoder and one of a sparse Autoencoder making predictions for high resolution image.
Technologies: Python, Keras, Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, Jupyter Notebook/Pycharm.
Date: October 2021 – July 2022, M.Sc. Thesis Research
