Mr. Panos Michailidis

Panagiotis Michailidis received his Diploma from the Department of Chemical Engineering (AUTh) and also his postgraduate diploma (MSc) from the Department of Environmental Engineering of DUTh polytechnic school. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of DUTh.

He is currently conducting research in the field of efficient energy control and Environmental Monitoring in dynamic large-scale systems at the Institute of Telematics and Informatics (ITI) department of C.E.R.T.H and his scientific interests involve Automatic control methodologies for Large-Scale Complex Systems with applications to: Energy Efficiency in Buildings, Swarms of Robots and Intelligent Transportation Systems.

He previously worked as an engineer in multiple projects in industry such as Public Power Corporation (PPC S.A.), TE.NA. Etc. and also as a freelancer in environmental projects. Since March 2016 he is working as a research assistant at the Informatics and Telematics Institute (I.T.I.) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (C.E.R.T.H.) and has actively participated in multiple European (H2020 & FP7) projects that concern Research and Innovation.
