Christos Korkas received the engineer’s diploma degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece, in 2013. He received the Ph.D. diploma from the same institution entitled “Distributed Optimization for Intelligent demand response in smart grids” in 2017. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, Information Technologies Institute, Greece. He has been involved in several EU FP7, H2020 and National funded Research and Development projects during the past years. His research is mainly focused on automatic control, reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, machine intelligence, adaptive control, and smart grids.
