Dr. John Violos is a researcher in Media Analysis, Verification and Retrieval Group at Centre for Research & Technology and adjunct prof. in the Dept. of Informatics and Telematics at Harokopio University. He was member for two years in the European Commission’s Digital Single Market Working Group on the Code of Conduct for Switching and Porting Data between Cloud Service Providers. He was PostDoc for three years in the Dept. of Software Engineering and Information Technology at École de Technologie Supérieure, Université du Québec in Canada and researcher for nine years in Knowledge, Media and Distributed Systems Lab at National Technical University of Athens. His research interests include Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Cloud and Edge computing.
