Georgios Barbas received the Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1993. Since 1994, he has been active as a freelance electrical engineer and has worked for 22 years in the Projects Service of the Hellenic Air Force, with experience in the design-management of electromechanical projects.
Since December 2019, he has been working as a specialist technical scientist at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology-Hellas (CERTH), Annex in Ioanina.
