Baltsou Georgia graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the University of Thessaly (UTH) in 2014. In 2017 she obtained a master’s degree specializing in the Internet and the World Wide Web from the Informatics Department of the Faculty of Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). From the same department, in 2022 she received her PhD in Community Detection in Networks with a full scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). In parallel with her studies, from 2014 to 2023 she worked as an adult trainer and author of scientific books in vocational education centers and vocational training institutes in digital skills (python, web development, algorithms, networks, etc.). In July 2023 she joined the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Center for Research and Technology, Hellas (CERTH)  as a postdoctoral research fellow. Her research interests focus on network analysis and the causality of node participation in communities, as well as image generation models.
