George Karantaidis holds a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a Master of Science Degree in Geoinformatics from School of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a Master of Science Degree in Computational Intelligence and Digital Media from School of Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
His is currently a PhD candidate in the area of Signal Processing and Information Analysis at School of Informatics (AUTh). and he is a Scholar of Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI).
His main research interests are in the area of ​​signal processing, artificial intelligence, and multimedia forensics. He has participated in European and National research projects. He is also a member of the Multimedia Analysis, Verification and Retrieval team (MeVer, https://mever.iti.gr).
