Dr Christos Nasoulis has been working as a research associate at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) since January 2023. He received his Diploma and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in 2020 and 2024, respectively, specialising in designing innovative architectures for aircraft and propulsion systems. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as a research associate at the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Turbomachinery in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at AUTH. He authored 11 scientific articles (lead author in 8 of them), including 6 journal publications, while the remaining are in peer-reviewed international conferences. Since 2020, worked on 4 European Commission-funded projects (HECARRUS, BACCHUS, ROBETARME, PLIADES) and 2 projects (BUTLER, EARLY) funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology. He has more than 8 years of experience in designing, constructing, and assembling complex mechanical systems, such as single-seater motorsport vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and more.
