Apostolos Axenopoulos works as an Associate Researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (CERTH/ITI), since November 2003. He has participated in more than 10 projects, funded by the EC and the Greek Ministry of Research and Technology. His main research interests include 3D object indexing, content-based search and retrieval, multimedia applications and bioinformatics. He has published more than 30 papers in refereed journals, book chapters and international conferences, and he is a reviewer for several journals and conferences. He is also a Member IEEE.
