Dr. Athanasios Psaltis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). He has strong background in designing and developing technologies, as well as in designing, developing, and training machine learning algorithms for image and video processing. Since 2015, he has participated in more than 10 research projects, playing an active role in both conducting and coordinating research activities in computer vision technologies, as well as in multimedia data analysis and fusion technologies. His academic work includes more than 25 publications in international scientific journals and conferences, focusing on fields such as computer vision, federated learning, and privacy in Artificial Intelligence.
