Aristotelis Karavidas has graduated from Electrical and Computing department of Democritus University of Thrace. He followed the electronics and information technology specialization. After his graduation, he continued his studies on electrical engineering at the University of Twente by attending the master programme of Electrical Engineering. Specifically, he attended the Semiconductor Components specializations which is mainly focused on the technology of integrated circuits (ICs). His master diploma thesis was about the optical (with conventional and infrared cameras) and electrical characterization of silicon light emitting diodes (LEDs) where he developed software for the synchronization of the electrical and optical equipment. He worked as a research assistant for the University of Twente after the completion of his master thesis. From 2021 until today, he works for CERTH, ITI.
