Dr. Ioannis Manakos participated as invited keynote speaker at the 4th Remote Sensing and GIS Symposium (UZAL­CBS 2012). UZAL-CBS 2012 was organised in Bulent Ecevit University (BEU) in Zonguldak, Turkey, with the cooperation of BEU Geomatics Engineering Department, ITU Geomatics Engineering Department and the Turkish Chamber of Survey and Cadastre Engineers (HKMO). 348 participants from various national academic, governmental and business institutions attended the meeting. Dr. Manakos’ presentation topic was “Remote Sensing in Europe: Status analysis and trends focusing on Environment and Agriculture.”
