In November 2013, the FP7 SPACE projects BIO_SOS (BIOdiversity multi-SOurce monitoring System: from Space to species) and MS.MONINA (Multi-scale Service for Monitoring Natura 2000 Habitats of European Community Interest) jointly organised a final dissemination workshop. The workshop took place in Brussels, Belgium, and offered the opportunity to users, researchers and policy-makers to get informed and discuss the research and technological achievements of the two projects. ITI has been a partner of the BIO_SOS consortium, undertaking various tasks, ranging from Remote Sensing image analysis and classification to software development and dissemination activities.
