ITI research assistant Zisis Petrou received the Best Paper Award for a young professional under 35 at the 2nd International Conference on Space Technology (ICST 2011), Athens, Greece. The awarded paper was entitled “A review of Remote Sensing methods for Biodiversity assessment and Bioindicator extraction” and was co-written by the former ITI director, Prof. Maria Petrou.
